The Chinese have ripped off another game, this time it’s Splatoon

Runaway Graffiti. That's the name of this unquestionable and completely original mobile game that is making some waves over in China. Surely, you've never seen anything exactly like it, right? Yeah, OK.

It's no secret that the Chinese make ripoff products of major brands. TV's, iPods, books and even Walmart (yes, Walmart). Video games are a growing industry over there as well, so it had to be expected that counterfeit versions of popular games were sure to follow. And boy they are coming.

A couple of weeks ago, videos surfaced of a blatant Overwatch clone for mobile devices, which have since been blocked by Activision over copyright claims. Now, a Splatoon ripoff called Runaway Graffiti is making its rounds across the interwebs. There were videos of the game as well, but they have since been removed by Nintendo over similar copyright claims.

Runaway Graffiti has its own official website, which you can check out here.
