The Crew closed beta planned for Xbox One and PS4

Ubisoft has announced that they will be holding a closed beta session for the Xbox One and PS4 versions of The Crew.

Ubisoft notes that just "a limited number" of players will be invited to the beta, adding that invites will start being sent out in late September. Unfortunately, no dates were provided, though Ubisoft did say more details regarding this closed beta period will be shared at a later date.

Ubisoft wrapped up a closed beta for the PC version last month. We had about week's worth of time with the upcoming open-world racer, and you can read our impressions — both the good and the bad — of it here.
