If you've ever wanted to experience The Hunger Games in video game format, The Culling is just about the closest thing you'll get outside of an actual licensed game (which doesn't exist yet). After releasing into Steam Early Access in March of last year, developer Xaviant announced over on the official Xbox News site, that The Culling will be heading to Xbox Game Preview on Friday, June 2nd.
The game recently transitioned from its Alpha to Beta phase back in January, bringing a new map and an assortment of new weapons.
In The Culling, players haveĀ 25 minutes to scavenge, hunt, trap, and kill or be killed until only one contestant is left standing. There are no respawns, so once you die, it's over.
