Christopher Nolan, the legend behind The Dark Knight Trilogy and Inception recently commented on another series he'd be interested in tackling: James Bond.
In an interview with Playboy (Yep, it's that kind of day), Nolan said he would "definitely" like to work on a 007 movie when the time is right. He even said that he's spoken to producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson (the current producers of the 007 films) about it, but hasn't worked anything out officially.
"I deeply love the character, and I'm always excited to see what they do with it," Nolan said. "Maybe one day that would work out. You'd have to be needed, if you know what I mean. It has to need reinvention; it has to need you. And they're getting along very well."
In other 007 news, Daniel Craig has shown interest in returning as James in the next film, while Barbara Broccoli has stated that she'd like to have Adele return to sing the theme song.
Meanwhile, Nolan's next movie, Dunkirk, opens on July 21.
