The Dark Pictures Anthology’s second game Little Hope gets lengthy gameplay video

Bandai Namco has shared a nice long gameplay trailer for their upcoming horror-adventure game The Dark Pictures: Little Hope. The second standalone installment in The Dark Pictures Anthology is slated to come out this fall for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Watch it here!

The Dark Pictures Anthology of horror-adventure titles is the spiritual successor for one of the PS4’s best exclusives Until Dawn. It follows the same game structure where a group of regular people ends up in what is basically a slasher/horror movie. It’s basically a playable Scream game.

The first game in the new multiplatform horror series Man of Medan came out last year and ended up being very well-received by gamers. It might have flown under the radar of many. Such is the sad reality of non-exclusives not getting the same amount of promotion sadly.

Each new game is influenced by real world events either fact, fiction or legend and features a completely new story, setting and cast of characters.

Each new game in The Dark Pictures Anthology will deliver a new cinematic horror experience playable in single and multiplayer including Shared Story playable with a friend online and Movie Night mode where up to 5 players can play together off-line and pass-the-pad.

Little Hope is the second game in The Dark Pictures Anthology.  Trapped and isolated in the abandoned town of Little Hope, 4 college students and their professor must escape the nightmarish apparitions that relentlessly pursue them through an impenetrable fog.

Little Hope is once again introducing an entirely new cast of characters, setting, and story, making it ultimately an entirely standalone experience on its own. It was originally planned to come out this summer but the unforeseeable Coronavirus Pandemic threw a wrench into the developer’s plans – just as with many more studios.
