Back when Ubisoft's work-in-progress Tom Clancy's The Division was revealed there was plenty of hype for it, but with so many stints of radio silence on the game, the hype might have petered out a bit. As we inch closer to The Division's promised December Xbox One beta event, Ubisoft has been more forthcoming with information.
Last week, we got a look at the game's weather system and how it will affect the way you play the game. This week, the game has gone up for pre-order for PC via Steam. It should be noted that if you purchase it through Steam, you will still need a Uplay account to play.
Interestingly, the Steam Store page for The Division doesn't specify the March 8th, 2016 release date like the Uplay Store does, but it does say the game will release in March 2016. Whether you pre-order through Uplay or Steam, pre-purchases will come with the Hazmat gear set and guaranteed beta access.
