After the UPlay mobile application confirmed that the The Division's Beta would begin this month, Ubisoft officially announced that the beta could be beginning on January 28th for Xbox One owners and on January 29th for PC and PlayStation 4 owners.
With the beta beginning next week and anticipation eating away at the community, fans have begun wondering how big of a download the beta will have.
Luckily we don't need to wait any longer to find out, Redditor legate213 works for a game testing company which grants them early access to the game's beta. Tomorrow game testers will begin stress testing the login servers and matchmaking to ensure that when fans pick up the beta they won't be met with any problems.
In order to get ahead of the curve, Legate213 started their download for The Divisions beta on PC and has revealed that the beta download size will be 26.25GB. This is around the same file size as the alpha test, which would suggest a similar amount of content will be available in the beta (unless the files have been super compressed).
The file size for the PS4 and Xbox One version have yet to be revealed, but will probably arrive shortly.
