The Division Open Beta now live on Xbox One

Open Beta for Tom Clancy's The Division is officially underway on Xbox One. The beta went live this morning and is open to anyone who owns the Microsoft console. The is scheduled to end on February 21st, giving players ample time to explore the mid-crisis New York.

As a reminder, open beta will consist mostly of content that was offered in the closed beta last month, but will add an all-new story mission "for players to explore in their pursuit to save the city." This will also grant you access to another wing of your Base of Operation which will unlock a new skill. The Closed Beta included the Hospital starting mission, as well as some side tasks to help grow your Base of Operation, which you should also be able to complete. Players are also able to enter the PvP-enabled Dark Zone, which has received a ton of tweaks.

Unfortunately, PS4 and PC players will have to wait a full day before they can access the Open Beta on February 19th. This is presumably part of Microsoft and Ubisoft's partnership that'll see DLC for The Division arrive on Xbox One 30 days before other platforms.

The Open Beta will run through February 21st for all platforms. The Division is set for a full launch on March 8, 2016.
