Ubisoft has elected to delay The Division's upcoming DLC packs, Survival and Last Stand so that the developers can work on improving the core gameplay according to a new blog post on the game's official site. The developers cite "lingering issues that have accumulated since release" as the cause for the delay. Ubisoft says that the main focus has turned to Update 1.4 which focuses on a number of aspects that the community has made clear alongside their own observations.
Here are the focal points per Ubisoft:
There's no mention of end game content, but it is possible that you could file that one under "solo player experience." Feedback on The Division has been harsh, to say the least, particularly from Steam users. Ubisoft later goes on to thank their community towards the end of the blog post, emphasizing their "openly passionate nature." They said:
"Our passion is what unites us and allows us to build a better game together! We remain committed to delivering the best experience possible, and will constantly be looking for your feedback as we shape the future of The Division."
Barf. You've gotta love public relations. On that note, I will leave you one such "passionate" piece of feedback per Steam user, KiraKazumi.
