This just goes to show that day one console adopters don't get the coolest consoles. Here I am with just a normal black PS4. Meanwhile, Sony is showing off a silver, slimed PlayStation 4 in Japan, themed after the recently announced Dragon Quest Heroes.
And it looks awesome!
You can see pictures of the metal slime topper that melts down the front of the PS4 console. We don't have our own pictures of that because we aren't out there at TGS. Don't feel bad for us, though. Feel bad for everyone in North America and Europe that might want this Dragon Quest Heroes PS4 console, because there's pretty much a zero chance it ever sees a release outside of Japan.
