The Dwarves first set of stretch goals announced

KINGart games has announced that the Kickstarter campaign for The Dwarves has already achieved 50% of its goal in only one weeks time. As a result, the studio has revealed the first set of stretch goals for the game when it releases on PS4, Xbox One and PC/MAC.

The Dwarves is an action/RPG played in third person and is based on the series of books bearing the same name. With an updated physics engine bringing combat to new heights, we will also be receiving a new set of updates as a result of the Kickstarter. Included in the first set of stretch goals are

  • Local Coop – a feature that many supporters of the campaign have requested.
  • New Game modes – including New Game + and a Horde mode.
  • Additional Character – created by Markus Heitz, author of The Dwarvesseries of books, with their own questline.

A new gameplay and information video was also released by KINGart showing us some background information on the Tungdil, the game's protagonist. The Dwarves currently does not have a set release date but is on track to launch in early 2016 according to its developer.
