The Dwarves gets three new game modes and features in new update

Available now on all platforms

THQ Nordic released a new update for its fantasy RPG The Dwarves on both PC and console today, and it includes three brand new game modes along with some new features as well.

The three modes consist of Horde, Time Trial, and Chase with each one letting you earn points in order to unlock all of the 15 heroes in the game. Of course, there is a leaderboard for each mode to show you how you stack up against the competition.  In Horde mode, the heroes fight against a vast enemy army that grows in numbers and difficulty from wave to wave. Time Challenge demands players to kill all opponents as fast as possible, whilst in Chase, the goal is to capture a running Orc with his rucksack, while hacking and slashing through his comrades.

The Dwarves is an RPG that uses a mix of tabletop setup and incredible storytelling to guide you through the story. It's a new take on the RPG genre and we really are enjoying our time with it so far.

The patch is a free download and each mode has a separate entry on the game's main menu. It's out now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, and the full list of patch notes are as follows
