Owning anthologies or other collector items for games very well may save your life some day!
While a gamer, who goes by velorok online, was sinking some hours into Prey, they heard a loud pop and the sound of breaking glass, following by a puff of dust in the air. Upon closer inspection, the gamer found a bullet hole near their computer monitor.
Following the most likely trail from the bullet hole took the gamer to their Elder Scrolls Anthology, which had taken the hit for them. Had they not returned their Elder Scrolls Anthology collection to its proper location on the shelf, the bullet would have hit the gamer "in the chest."
The bullet was taken by police, but the gamer took the time to upload images of his marred collection.
Tribunal, Bloodmoon, and the construction set discs included in the collection were shattered by the bullet, Oblivion managed to survive – only because it was in the disc drive.

Bethesda has offered to replace the gamer's copy of The Elder Scrolls Anthology (of course the gamer said yes).
