The Elder Scrolls Online beta sign-ups to begin in 2013

Beta sign-ups for The Elder Scrolls Online, Bethesda and ZeniMax Online Studios' highly-anticipated MMORPG, will begin some time in 2013, the game's official Twitter account confirmed yesterday.

Exact details weren't revealed, but new announcements will be made next year via the game's official website and social network pages.

Information about The Elder Scrolls Online has been sparse since it was first announced, but just last week an in-depth dev diary was released. The nine-plus minute video saw the developers from ZeniMax Online Studios discuss many of the intriguing features of The Elder Scrolls Online including real-time combat, grouping, the mega server feature, level 50 content, armor, and player-versus-player.
