The Elder Scrolls Online PS4, Xbox One beta begins tomorrow

Beta invitations for The Elder Scrolls Online console beta test have gone out this morning in preparation of its launch tomorrow. Between the dates of April 23rd, 2015 (10 AM EDT) until April 27th, 2015 (10 AM EDT) everyone that receives an invitation will be able to pour hours into the closed public beta.

No matter how far you progress in the closed beta, your characters will not carry over to the live version of TESO on the PS4 and Xbox One. You can expect your PC/Mac characters to transfer over to the PS4 and Xbox One at launch, though.

One thing PS4 and Xbox One closed beta players need to know prior to downloading the beta client, you might need to delete a game in order to make some space. The client will exceed 50GB and will have a day-one 15GB patch. This file size is slightly bigger than the file size for Grand Theft Auto 5 (on PS4), which weighed in at 59GB.

Comparatively The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will take up around 50GB on Xbox One and PS4, you decide which games are more important.
