The Elder Scrolls Online’s ‘Thieves Guild’ DLC gets release date

Zenimax Studios announced today that The Elder Scrolls Online's next expansion pack, the Thieves Guild, will launch in March.

A new trailer released alongside the announcement showcases some of the DLC's features, including a new 12-player battle called Maw of Lorkhaj. The DLC also follows the storyline of a soon-to-collapse guild. Based in the Hammerfell portion of Tamriel, the Thieves Guild headquarters makes Abah's Landing its home. The story content will last hours, and follow us on a quest to rebuild the Thieves Guild reputation throughout Tamriel.

"The Thieves Guild of Abah's Landing, an organization of pickpockets, burglars, robbers, and thieves, is being hunted by a mercenary guard force known as the Iron Wheel. This relentless organization will stop at nothing to see the guild brought to justice for a high-stakes heist that went horribly wrong. As their newest recruit, you'll sneak along rooftops, steal from the shadows, and recover lost treasures to help to restore the guild's reputation."

New armor sets, weapons and other items — even camel mounts — are included in the DLC. Of course, they will have to be earned by completing quests. A new skill line, new bosses, and criminal activities have also been added.

Thieves Guild will be available March 7th on PC, the 22nd on Xbox One, and the 23rd on PS4.
