One of these is the ambitious total conversion mod Beyond Skyrim: Cyrodiil. The talented team behind the massive community effort has now released a brand-new trailer for their anticipated project. Mods are always a huge undertaking for enthusiastic gamers who voluntarily sacrifice their precious free time to create unique and worthwhile new content. Maybe no other game in recent memory has become so synonymous with community mods like Skyrim. Whether its bug fixes, cosmetics or new missions, Skyrim’s community has truly elevated the base game well beyond its original scope. But the most difficult, time-intensive and thus rare to come by mods are total conversions, since they entail the entire scope of mods in one package.
Beyond Skryim is amping up the stakes even further with its goal of featuring the entire continent of The Elder Scrolls’ world Tamriel. One massive region of the continent is Cyrodiil which was the playground in The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. The new trailer now showcases the large area in increased fidelity.

A Broken Land – Explore Cyrodiil as you have never seen it before. Whether you are traversing the snow-covered Jerall Mountains, haggling with the many merchants of the Imperial City, or exploring the lush Gold Coast, you will experience the changes of the 200 years since the events of Oblivion. Cyrodiil is a land scarred by the recent Great War and the tribulations of an Empire in decline. Carve out your legend in this shattered land.
