More information regarding The Evil Within's episodic downloadable content is coming "soon," according to a tweet from publisher Bethesda. You may recall, late last year Bethesda revealed plans for an Evil Within Season Pass. Among the content coming in "early 2015" would be a two-part, story-driven experience centering on Detective Castellanos' mysterious partner, Juli Kidman.
Now it's been a long time since I reviewed The Evil Within, which launched in October of last year, but I've been dying for an excuse to revisit the twisted world created by Shinji Mikami, the father of survival horror.
Bethesda last spoke of the DLC in December, revealing that playing as Juli will feel much different than Sebastian. "I would say she's much livelier than Sebastian was in the main game!" Tango Gameworks' John Johanas, game director for The Assignment and The Consequence (the names of the two upcoming DLCs), said. "Her story is a bit more personal than his as well, so there's a bit of banter and commentary as you play."
I'm assuming by "soon," Bethesda means to share new information this month. After all, once past March, I don't think we can consider it "early 2015."
