The Evil Within’s first DLC ‘The Assignment’ gets trailered, official release date

Get ready to dive back into the twisted world of The Evil Within. Bethesda confirmed today that the survival horror's first DLC, The Assignment, will be available on March 10, 2015.

The Assignment is the first of a two-part, story driven experience that puts you in the role of detective Juli Kidman, Sebastian Castellanos' mysterious partner. The DLC looks to answer some of the questions you might've had about Kidman while playing the main campaign, like where the heck she was during all of it. It'll also allow you to discover Kidman's hidden motivations and her mysterious connection to Mobious, the antagonistic group thought to be behind the horrific events of The Evil Within.

As I mentioned, The Assignment is the first part of this story driven experience, and will be followed up by The Consequence "later this spring." Both expansions are available as part of The Evil Within Season Pass for $19.99, which also includes the third DLC, The Executioner. Alternatively, you can purchase The Assignment separately for $9.99.
