The f**king Catalina Wine Mixer is now a real event

Since 1997, the f**king Catalina Wine Mixer (POW!) has been the biggest helicopter leasing event in the Western Hemisphere since 1997. Well, it would've been if it were not completely fictional, made up entirely for the 2008 movie Step Brothers.

Still that doesn't change the fact that if it were real, the Catalina Wine Mixer (POW!) would be the greatest party on Earth. And now, we'll finally get to see our dreams come true.

The Descanso Beach Club on Catalina Island is officially hosting the party inspired by Step Brothers. Featuring live bands, DJs, gourmet food and find wine, the Catalina Wine Mixer (POW!) is poised to be the biggest, best party ever. The Dan Band, as seen in The Hangover and Old School, will headline the 1st Annual Catalina Wine Mixer, as they perform original covers of female-performed pop songs.

General admission to the event — being held on Sunday, Sept. 13 — starts at $35 for adults, and children are welcome ($20 for 12 & under). This includes all day access and a souvenir wine glass. There's also a VIP admission for adults 21 and over; for $100, you get the following:

• Souvenir wine glass
• Access to the VIP Hospitality Suite in Catherine's Terrace overlooking the main stage and beautiful pacific ocean
• Private bar
• Private wine tasting
• Complimentary food stations between 12:00 – 3:00 pm
• Unlimited access to the event from 12:00 – 9:00 pm
