A new picture of Hideo Kojima's new company mascot has hit the internet this morning giving us a look at his face, or more so just his eyes. The man who has been given the name Ludens, is seen staring off in the distance at something and adjusting some sort of light on his helmet with a caption next to the image that says "I'll keep coming." What does that mean? Who the hell knows! Kojima has been teasing us with images of the mysterious man for months now and his studio continues to stress that this is not the main character of their new title.
But why focus so much on their mascot/logo if Ludens has no relevance to any future Kojima titles? Clearly there is more to it (we hope), but we will have to wait until next week at E3 when Kojima hopefully walks on stage dressed like Ludens.
When asked for comment by GameSpot, Kojima Productions just said "You can freely imagine whatever you see."
Kojima founded his new company back in December when he partnered up with PlayStation. Shortly after launching his new studio, he went on a global search for new technology to use in his new game to allow him to hopefully release the game faster. He has been very tight-lipped about his new title only mentioning that the genre is action. His new untitled game will release on PS4 and PC at an unknown date.
