There are a couple things I remember about RollerCoaster Tycoon, theme park management is harder than I thought and if people don't like your park they magically disappear into into lakes. The latest installment in the series was announced back in August 2014 by Atari and Nvizzio for the PC with a prospective 2015 release date.
RollerCoaster Tycoon World will bring back the features we loved and adding new features like a first and third-person view, playing with up to four players to manage one giant theme park. You can even visit the parks of other players and steal their ideas.
According to Nvizzio, the game will be entering its first beta this weekend, but the beta will only be available to those that purchased it. The beta will be on Friday, October 30 and will be available until Monday, November 2 – with unconfirmed times.
The beta has been described as a "technical demo focusing on our coaster building system" that "will show tycoons just a small taste of the sandbox experience and great parks you will be able to build when the game launches."
The features in the beta include:
