Capcom has detailed the healing item for the next Resident Evil game and it's a well-known item, but it seems like there's a twist to it.
The green herbs have become a classic healing item in the gaming world and no Resident Evil game would be complete without them. Considering how the Resident EvilĀ 7 demo was filled with secrets, we can expect Capcom to be hiding even more messages in everything they post about their upcoming survival horror game. That's why this image, spotted by Eurogamer, probably has more to it than meets the eye.
The thing that drew people's attention was the gold coin, why would it be there in a picture about the green herbs? For now consensus about it seems to be that the coin is showing that gamers will have to pay for healing services and that the green herbs won't be found as regularly like in the earlier games. There's probably even more to this picture than that but that remains a mystery until someone with way too much spare time figures it out.
The next big Resident Evil 7 announcement will probably be at Gamescom next week or Tokyo Games Show which is a month away.
