The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler gives thanks to Borderlands 2

I love the absolutely zany approach Borderlands has kept up with over the years. With the second Headhunter add-on for Borderlands 2, The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler, this trend is certainly continuing. If the name didn’t give it away for you, this holiday themed DLC will focus on Gearbox’s darling version of Thanksgiving. The actual Horrible Hungry Ravenous Wattle Gobbler is well… yea, a giant killer turkey; so there is that.

It appears that the beloved Mr. Torgue is hosting a hunger-themed competition to hunt down said giant white turkey. This process involves him choosing sacrificial recruits from all districts of Pandora to get involved – this plot almost sounds familiar. Vault Hunters will also meet Grandma Flexinton, the immensely buff family member of Mr. Torgue. As the previous Headhunter DLC, you CAN do it on your own but it is suggested that you bring some friends; Turkey is not going to roast itself.

Your reward will be new heads and skins — you can never get enough of those. This DLC is looking to be released on November 26th in North America for just $2.99 on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Mac. Happy Hunting!
