Michael B. Jordan will team up with director Ryan Coogler for a third time, following Fruitvale Station and Creed, in Marvel’s upcoming “Black Panther. There are no details on who he will be playing, but rumors have surfaced pointing towards a villainous role.
In addition, Academy award winning actress, Lupita Nyong'o is also in talks to star in the film, possibly as Chadwick Boseman's love interest. However, it seems the discussion to bring her on board isn't nearly as far along as the talks revolving around Jordan.
Michael B. Jordan is no stranger to comic book movies, having already played The Human Torch. This would make it the second time an actor playing that character was in an MCU film, the first of course being Chris Evans, who is now better known as Captain America rather than Johnny Storm.
Whatever the case, I’m sure Jordan will be looking to throw everything into this super hero film after the critically derided and box office flop that was Fantastic Four.
