The hunt begins in new Halo 5 live-action commercial

Master Chief is like the Jack Bauer of the video game world. Regardless of how many times he's saved the human race, we still feel the need to try and stop him from doing his thing. The new Halo 5: Guardians trailer debuted this weekend, and as expected, it paints the legendary hero as a traitor no longer listening to orders. Well, duh, he's trying to save you guys again!

"We created him, so we're responsible when we can't control him," a voice says. "The only thing worse than losing a hero is watching him turn against us."

With Master Chief now labeled a traitor, the story fabricated is that he's dead. Of course, that's not true, so Spartan Locke and Fireteam Osiris must now hunt him down.

Halo 5: Guardians is set to release exclusively for Xbox One on October 27, 2015.
