The Injustice: Gods Among Us character select screen looks pretty awesome

It's amazing how NetherRealm studios can make something as simple as a character select screen look so damn awesome. Although there seems to be some confusion over the origin, a screenshot for Injustice: Gods Among Us' character select screen shows us the 24 playable characters and the splash art for Batman. I imagine each character will have art as amazing as the Caped Crusader, but for now we'll have to drool over his. Keep in mind, the recent demo for Injustice only showed a few of the characters; this is our first look at all of them in-game.

As you can see from the screenshot, the "heroes" are all clumped together on one side with the "villains" on the other. However, as we've been told numerous times, Injustice: Gods Among Us blurs the line between good and evil. I'm not entirely sure how this will play out in the game's story, but I'm really looking forward to it.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is due out on April 16 for PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. Check out our preview of the game, but be cautious as there are some brief storyline spoilers.
