It looks as though rumors are proving to be true, Apple is gearing up to debut their iPhone 6s during a media event on September 9th at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. The closer that date comes, the more we know about upgrades coming to the 6s line.
The event will likely give way to reveal the fourth generation Apple TV, that comes ripe with new internal hardware, a brand new design, a dedicated App Store and Siri. This even might even be used to date iOS 9, the new operating system for Apple's mobile device.
As for the iPhone 6s itself, both the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are believed to feature Force Touch haptic feedback (a vibration in the phone when you push buttons or type). On top of this, the iPhone's rear camera is said to be able to support recording videos in 4K, while the front camera will be able to take panoramic shots and slow motion video in 720p. So, as far as we know, the major improvements to the phone are coming with the enhanced A9 processor, cameras, and the phones more compact architecture.
