The John Wick sequel has a new name and confirmed release date

Over last year's summer, Lionsgate officially announced that John Wick would be getting a sequel with Keanu Reeves returning as the star and David Leitch and Chad Stahelski as the returning directors, along with writer Derek Kolstad.

According to recent reports from Collider, the film will be titled John Wick: Chapter Two. In the sequel Wick will be headed to Rome to, more than likely, leave a lot of people in body bags. The cast has grown quite a bit since the original announcement, with Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, Peter Stormare, and Common having been tacked on to the list.

Finally, the release date. John Wick: Chapter Two is set to release on February 10th, 2017. After having seen the first film, my excitement for the sequel has grown exponentially in the last 24 hours. Oh and in case you haven't heard, there's a John Wick spinoff coming.
