The Last Guardian officially delayed again

When The Last Guardian was revealed to be missing from Sony's Tokyo Game Show 2016 lineup, we knew we had to be afraid. The game has already seen a series of horrible announcements throughout its lifetime. It has been in development since 2007 (it was revealed in 2009) and has taken us on an emotional rollercoaster that was almost too intense to recover from.

Just when we thought were on even ground, Sony officially delayed The last Guardian again. A post on the PlayStation Blog has revealed that the game will release on December 6th, 2016.

Why was it delayed? According to Sony President Shuhei Yoshida, it's because the game is simply too buggy.

"A delay is a difficult decision, particularly with this game, but we have encountered more bugs than anticipated while in the final stages of development. To ensure that The Last Guardian delivers on the experience that the game’s creators have envisioned, we need to take the extra time to work on those issues."

So, the game is still due for release in 2016, but it almost makes you wonder if it was delayed for the PlayStation 4 Pro.
