The Last of Us extended ‘Red Band’ trailer

The recently aired TV spot for The Last of Us, which aired during The Walking Dead finale, fell a little flat for me. It didn't really show much, but then again, there's only so much you can fit into 30 seconds. For someone who may never have seen the game before, the shortened spot certainly didn't provide much backstory. That could be why Sony and Naughty Dog have created and released an extended Red Band trailer.

The extended trailer offers just over two minutes of The Last of Us footage, including never-before-seen content. It gives us a better idea of the struggles Joel and Ellie will face on their adventure across the apocalyptic United States.

The Last of Us is due out on PlayStation 3 on June 14, 2013. Those who have picked up a copy of God of War: Ascension will have access to an exclusive demo for The Last of Us, set to go live on May 31. A release date for a general demo has yet to be announced.
