Naughty Dog's work on the retail version of The Last of Us is complete. The announcement comes via game director Niel Druckmann who calmy tweeted earlier today: "Pencils down. #thelastofus."
And how do I know he's referring to The Last of Us going gold? Naughty Dog co-president Christophe Balestra shared the accompanying picture on Instagram with a caption that read: "this is happening right now."
So now that The Last of Us is complete there's nothing left for us to do but sit back, watch the trailers, and eagerly await the arrival of the game on June 14. Less than one month to go.
Congratulations to Naughty Dog; we can't wait to see what the future holds for you on the PlayStation 4. Now that Naughty Dog is split into two teams, it's expected that the other half of the studio is working on a secret PS4 game — though I have absolutely no proof.
