The Last of Us Remastered discounted to $10 for Outbreak Day

If you were paying attention to the lore in The Last of Us, you' d know that September 26th is a pretty special day. In the game, September 26th was the day when the Cordyceps virus reached critical mass. There was no turning back after September 26th, the virus would take everything.

In celebration of this day, today, there is a special sale for the game, DLC, and merch, as well as the debut of new collectibles, and more.

A majority of the discounted content can be found on the PlayStation Store, where The Last of Us Remastered has been discounted to $9.99 for the PS4 and some DLC has been discounted by 50%. In addition to that, a dynamic theme has been made free (typically priced at around $3).

On top of the downloadable goodies, Naughty Dog teamed up with illustrator Kevin Tong to create a limited edition poster.  The poster is slated to go on-sale today, Monday, September 26, at 10:00am PDT / 1:00pm EDT / 7:00pm CEST on MondoTees.com. It should be noted that there is a limited supply of posters – which means that once it's sold out, it's sold out for good!
