The Last of Us Remastered gets patched, two free maps

It's Friday and Naughty Dog comes bearing good news.

The Last of Us Remastered is finally getting the update (check out the patch notes here) that will attempt to fix most of the matchmaking issues effecting the Factions mode. The update will be rolling out world-wide over the next 24 hours, so, make sure you look for the update.

The update isn't coming empty handed, it's bringing some goodies with it.

There will be two free maps

Beach, an excellent map for long-range experts.

Financial Plaza, which is ideal for both sniping and close quarters combat.

The maps on the PS4 are about 291 MB, and the patch is about 137 MB and on the PS3 the patch is about 170 MB and the maps are about 143 MB.

Outside of the patch and free maps, Naughty Dog is offering the Scoped Weapons Bundle (four guns) for $2.99 on the PlayStation Store, putting it $1 less than if you were to buy each weapons seperately.

Happy battling!
