Sony hasn't yet officially announced the release date of The Last of Us Remastered for PlayStation 4, but a few retailers — Target, GameFly, and Best Buy — are all listing the game as coming out on June 20, 2014. Sony has only mentioned a "Summer 2014" window, but it's intriguing that all three retailers have posted the exact same date. Perhaps they all used the same lacky to input the data. Or maybe it's just a placeholder.
If accurate, the date puts The Last of Us Remastered in line for the Friday after the week of E3. The Last of Us originally released for PS3 on June 14.
In terms of PS4 exclusive features, The Last of Us Remastered will include the full game in 1080p along with a slew of upgrades including higher resolution character models, improved shadows and lighting, upgraded textures, and more. It will also bundle the Abandoned Territories multiplayer map pack and the single player expansion, Left Behind. A third DLC, Reclaimed Territories pack, is also included, though details will be "coming soon.
