The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Screenshot shows Melee Action

While rumors go around concerning Breath of the Wild not releasing in Q1 2017, fans must turn to info drops for the title in the form of daily screenshot releases, which come from the Legend of Zelda official Facebook page.

In celebration of the holidays, the other day Nintendo released some concept art of Link in the colder regions of Hyrule. Today we're treated with an in-game screenshot of Link battling a melee variation of the Guardian, one of the main baddies in Breath of the Wild.

The creature is seen with a glowing blue sword and one arm (although it looks like Link cut or tore off the other).

While rumors point to Q1 not being the release window, we don't actually have a solid one to go by, so we at GameZone are anxiously awaiting news. To hold us over, we've watched these trailers from TGA 2016 in hopes that it passes the time before Breath of the Wild graces us with its presence.
