Daredevil's Rosario Dawson will reportedly join Will Arnett and Michael Cera in the upcoming LEGO Movie spinoff, LEGO Batman.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dawson will voice Barbara Gordon, the daughter of police commissioner James Gordon who eventually becomes Batgirl. Dawson will presumably fight alongside Arnett, who is reprising his role as the Caped Crusader, and Michael Cera, who will play Batman's trusty sidekick Robin. Together, the three will take on the Joker, who will be voiced by Zach Galifianakis.
Dawson is no stranger to comic book roles. Fans of Marvel's Netflix-exclusive Daredevil series probably recognize her as Claire Temple (the series' version of Night Nurse). She's also voiced DC's Wonder Woman in the animated Justice League: Throne of Atlantis.
The LEGO Batman Movie is slated to hit theaters on February 10, 2017. What do you think of the casting choice?
