Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the guys that directed and wrote The Lego Movie and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and directed (but didn't write) 21 Jump Street and its sequel, have set their sights on one of DC's heroes — The Flash. Right now, The Flash currently has a TV show airing on The CW, but we all know that isn't enough, there needs to be a film too.
Lord and Miller are working with Warner Bros. to develop a story for the superhero film, whether or not they will also direct it hasn't been revealed.
The two have created some successful films, The Lego Movie alone grossed about $468.7 million worldwide. There's no doubt that the duo would do a good job with The Flash, their previous films always have comedic qualities and The Flash is a pretty funny guy. A movie for The Flash would be pretty great too, considering that he was part of the Justice League.
It seems like comic book films are big right now. It's almost like people have moved on from the zombie obsession.
