Since the console/portable hybrid known as the Nintendo Switch released earlier this year, everyone has been dying to have their favorite console games ported to the console. Who wouldn't want to play titles like GTA V, Fallout 4, and many others on the go whenever they want?!
While we haven't seen too many huge games get ported over yet, lots of developers are considering bringing their games over to the console when they can. One of those developers is Hinterland Games, developer of the survival game The Long Dark. The game has made waves on both Xbox One, PC, and PS4 for its great mechanics and setting.
After Twitter user ZhugeX pointed out that Nintendo seems to be padding out their line-up with indies while AAA games get developed like the PS4 did, Hinterland Games' Raphael van Lierop tweeted that maybe the studio should invest into the console.
Interesting. What's the install base at this point? Might be time to consider bringing #thelongdark over….
