The Lost Isle update in TERA is now live

The Lost Isle update for free-to-play MMO TERA is now live. The new update has new characters begin their adventure on Stepstone Isle, with an all-new story and accelerated path to action. There will be new adventures for current, returning, and new players to experience.

One of the big changes to TERA is a new, revamped character creation process and active starting menu where you can experiement with different races and classes on a single screen. There's also the Gridiron Academy, which is a level 40-64 version of the level 65 Gridiron PvP battleground. It has Vanguard quests and rep rewards.

For returning players, there is a 'Returning Hero' tab on the Vanguard Requests screen. The tab helps level 58-65 characters that haven't logged in for at least a month re-engage with TERA with gear upgrades, as well as new features and skills.

Also, starting on Thursday, October 15, Kyra's Pop-Up Potion Shack will return for TERA's annual in-game Halloween celebrations.

If you're interested in playing TERA, you can download it for free from the TERA game page on Stteam or visit the TERA website.
