The New X-Men Spinoff Show Features Sentinels

The X-Men Spinoff TV show that's been tossed around at Fox and also has a pilot soon to be ordered, has had some more information about it. Producers have confirmed that there will be Sentinels.

The giant mutant-hunting robots will appear in the TV series according to X-Men franchise producer Lauren Shuler Donner in her interview with IGN. She explained that the sentinels will make an appearance, but they may not be as familiar as fans remember them. Reasons were not given for their change in appearance, but budget may be a factor.

Considering the show will be live-action, this isn't too surprising, but it's still exciting to get sentinels on the small screen. It was stated before that the new show will feature some familiar X-Men, but that there are also some new characters will also share the limelight.

The FX X-Men show Legion will be completely separate from this new series. We've also learned that Legion will not even feature Professor Xavier.
