The next PixelJunk isn’t for PlayStation Network

Q-Games has announced PixelJunk 1-6, and it's for PC on Steam.

Most of the PixelJunk music games have appeared on Sony's PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Portable systems. Only PixelJunk Eden was available on PC as well — that version of the 2008 game released on February 2 of this year on Steam.

But the developer must like the platform because it's sticking with it. Q-Games said it might consider a console version if it gets "enough demand."

The required specs will be kept as low as possible, and the dev is working to make the game compatible with a gamepad and Steam's Big Picture mode. It will feature co-op for up to four players, English and Japanese language support to start, and "probably like a gajillion" robots.
