The next Spider-Man is narrowed down to 5 actors

Peter Parker starring in the High School drama known as Spider-Man

Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, made it very clear that the new Spider-Man film would not be an origin story and would focus on a "much younger version of Spider-Man." A Spider-Man that is still in High School.

Knowing that, we can expect some young actors to be taking up the role. Two months ago it was revealed that Sony was looking to cast Dylan O'Brien (Maze Runner, Teen Wolf) and Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson and Fury), but it looks like the two either said no to the role or simply did not make the cut.

According to The Wrap, there are five baby-faced actors up for the role — some of which are familiar. Take a look, personally I would like to see Butterfield from Ender's Game (he's the only one I've seen in a film) get role. In other news, Sony is also making a Spider-Man animated film that will stand independently of the live-action films.
