To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Nintendo 64 game system's US launch, a Kickstarter campaign is in full swing to bring the famed Nintendo 64 Anthology to the states.
1996 was the year gaming powerhouse, Nintendo, graced us with the most optimistic and state-of-the-art gaming console of its time, the Nintendo 64. The system was the first to feature 3D rendered worlds and gave us such classics as Super Mario 64, Goldeneye, Mario Kart, The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, etc. Any true child of the 90's gets a distinct twinkle in their eye when reminiscing about this technological gaming giant, and the cherished memories it helped create with friends and family alike will prove to stand the test of time.
The Nintendo 64 Anthology, originally released only in French, features 350 pages that detail the whole N64 game library, including those that were scrapped before they ever saw the light of day, a full history timeline going over the rise and fall of the console, exclusive interviews with the original game devs that created some of the most iconic games of the time, the entire line of controllers, consoles, and accessories, and much more! The Kickstarter campaign is working to have the book translated to english and available in the US to mark the 20th anniversary this September.
Two standard editions will be made available: Classic Edition and Collector's Edition. Exclusive only to Kickstarter backers will also be the Box Art Collection: Collector's Edition, which comes with an exclusive supplement guide detailing every single game's box art. Not to mention, five Limited Edition Legend of Zelda printed Nintendo 64 consoles will be available to the lucky backers who manage to snag one (Literally, a Willy Wonka Golden Ticket scenario)!

The Nintendo 64 Anthology (US) is expected to be a available to the public by September 29th!
