The Order: 1886 coming to PS4 ‘later in the year’

Good news, PlayStation 4 owners. Barring any delays, it looks like you'll be able to play The Order: 1886 on PS4 later this year — hopefully by fall.

Speaking at Sony's Briefing this morning, Sony UK marketing director Fergal Gara revealed "The Order 1886 [is] coming later in the year." His statement actually aligns with a release window inferred last year from a series of tweets between Sony Santa Monica's director of technology Tim Moss and Ready At Dawn's founder Andrea Pessino.

Elsewhere in his statement, Gara inferred that Evolution Studio's Driveclub would be sandwiched somewhere in between the March release of inFAMOUS Second Son and the apparent fall/autumn release of The Order: 1886.

Things kick off again in a short few weeks with the launch of infamous Second Son, another great first party title starting to push the boundaries of what PS4 can do. We have Driveclub, again coming from our first party studios, and we have The Order 1886 coming later in the year. So that’s just a flavour of what our own studios are bringing out this year.”

If true, then the rumored June launch for Driveclub could be true.
