The Order: 1886 developer will be revealing a new game next week

Looks like GameStop is serious about getting into video game publishing. First, it was Insomniac Games with their upcoming side-scrolling adventure, Song of the Deep. Now it's Ready at Dawn, the developers behind the much hyped The Order: 1886 and God of War: Ghost of Sparta on PSP who are stepping up, according to GameStop COO Tony Bartel.

In an earnings call yesterday day he said, "Next week, we will be announcing our second game under development, with Ready at Dawn."

Bartel did not expand further on details regarding the game, but more are set to be revealed sometime next week. GameStop has scooped up a couple of partners since unveiling its publishing program, GameTrust, which include Trine developers, Frozenbyte and Deadlight and Rime developers, Tequila Works.
