The Holiday season is upon us, and that means that various multiplayer games will be getting Holiday themed updates, and the date for Overwatch's Holiday update has been announced.

It has been a tradition among online games for a long time to have updates themed around various Holidays, Overwatch had one such update just this last Halloween, just like other online games like Destiny had. Now Christmas is upon us, and yes, Overwatch will be launching an appropriately themed update.
Any detail on what this update will come with has not yet been revealed, but if their last holiday-themed update is anything to go on, then Overwatch players can expect a lot. New skins and cosmetics, a new game mode or rumble mode, some Christmasfication of the maps, and a new comic bringing more lore to the game is all in play here.
The Holiday update is set for launch on December 13 and will be available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
