The idea of The Purge is both interesting and disturbing. 24 hours where anything goes, as violent as you want to make it, to get it all out of your system and have a perfect society the rest of the year. If I was in that situation, I'd be holed up in my maximum security house with people I trust — armed with heavy firepower — starting 24 hours beforehand and ending 24 hours after the Purge is over.
But not Zach Gilford (Friday Night Lights, Devil's Due) and Kiele Sanchez (The Glades). No, they decide to go on a nice car ride an hour or two before all hell breaks loose. And, of course, their car breaks down. Ladies and gentlemen, the trailer for The Purge: Anarchy.
The Purge: Anarchy unleashes in theaters on June 20, 2014.
