The Recap – 01/09/12 ‘Pokemon X & Y, SimCity intro, Minecraft update delayed and Remember Me looks awesome’

Welcome to another Recap episode where we go over the day's biggest headlines, making sure that you're caught up in all things video games.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y titles announced for Nintendo 3DS, coming October 2013

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company made their big announcement today: two brand new Pokémon games that will launch exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.

SimCity's introduction is such a tease

EA has released a new video showing off the introduction of Maxis' highly anticipated simulation game SimCity. The introduction video shows exactly what players will see when they log into the game. It's kind of like booting the game up for the first time.

4J Studios outlines Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition future, 'The End' update delayed

Perhaps somewhat overshadowed by newer, and highly regarded arcade titles, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition still stands as one of the highest selling XBLA titles of all time.

New Remember Me trailer features gameplay and reveals a boss

This new trailer by Capcom shows our mind wiped friend, Nilin, on a mission in Remember Me. She needs to access the memories of a female architect to get some floor plans, I assume.
