First-party PS4 games will cost $59.99 at launch
Sony has confirmed that the lineup of first-party launch titles for the PS4 — Killzone: Shadow Fall, Driveclub, Knack, andinFamous: Second Son — will cost $59.99. The news comes on the heels of Microsoft confirming that it's own Xbox One first-party titles will also be priced at $59.99.
PS3 firmware update 4.45 pulled amid complaints of 'bricking'
Sony has pulled firmware update 4.45 for the PS3 following user complaints that the latest update has caused their system to become unresponsive and, in some cases, "bricking" the machine.
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number announced with bloody, new trailer
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, the epic finale to 2012's blood-soaked hit, has officially been announced with a new teaser trailer. According to the press release, Hotline Miami 2 "follows an escalating level of violence through multiple factions born from the events of the original game." As we learned back in March, the main character from the original will make a return, though he won't be the protagonist.
Next Mass Effect will 'borrow a lot of game systems' from Dragon Age 3
The next Mass Effect game — which BioWare refuses to callMass Effect 4 — will borrow "a lot" of gameplay systems fromDragon Age 3, according to BioWare Montréal studio director Yanick Roy.
The Sims 4 to be revealed at Gamescom
While EA had a very impressive E3, showcasing Battlefield 4,Need for Speed Rivals, and teasing the likes of a new Star Wars Battlefront, there was one title noticeably absent from the publisher/developer conglomerate's lineup: The Sims 4.
